Driven by a lack of supply and other economic factors it’s not surprising that housing affordability has become a significant issue across many parts of the country. We believe strongly in the need for small 2 to12 unit multifamily residential properties that can naturally blend into an existing community or neighborhood at residential scale, form and function. The demand for missing middle housing solutions is proven and these properties can play an important part of meeting societies future housing needs and demographic and economic trends continue to evolve.
Infill & Adaptive Reuse
Infill and adaptive reuse assets are unique in the sense that they are hyper localized and too small for the standard institutional developer and investor. This gives a competitive advantage to firms with a local market presence, familiarity with the local market conditions and regulations, and, most importantly, local relationships. These opportunities are limited in many cases by local zoning and land use controls but provide great upside in terms of value-add development for “missing middle housing" solutions.
